Alaris Schmetterlingspark Seppensen

The dimensions of this hobby took on forms that resulted in the small apartment to no longer tolerable conditions. We searched a lot outside of Hamburg, which offered in addition to the house, the possibilities for a greenhouse for the butterflies. The land was found and implemented the project. After a few years, the next problem was enough space and facilities, only the professional devoured most of the time. Logically, the next step was the conversion of the hobby into a profession. The first result was the Butterfly Park in Buchholz North Heath. In 1992, a second butterfly park at the edge of Uslar was compared with an indoor swimming pool planned, constructed and put into operation in 1993 at the suggestion of the Deputy Town Clerk of the city Uslar.

It all startet with that the founder miss Hain studdied biology and one day  did hear about the Old World Swallowtail. It was love at first sight. Getting her husband interestet they soon startet breeding Swallowtails. The hobby outgrew their apartment in Hamburg, so that a house should be found with room for a greenhouse in the garden. The hobby still grew  at the new place and the couple decided to go professional. The first result was the Butterfly Park in Buchholz North Heath. In 1992, a second butterfly park at the edge of Uslar was constructed and put into operation in 1993 at the suggestion of the Deputy Town Clerk of the city Uslar. More experience had been gained through the butterfly exhibitions at horticultural shows in 1995 in Grevenbroich and 2002 in Grossenhain as well as at the exhibitions "insects, the secret rulers" in Hildesheim, Berlin, Frankfurt and Bonn. A breeding station in Peru was founded in 1997 with a partner. A large part of the butterflies flying in the alaris butterfly houses are bred there. In 1998, the experience gained with the existing 2 Alaris houses were passed to a couple in Wittenberg. There the 3rd Alaris Butterfly Park was built, which was opened in August 1998. 1999 a breeding station was founded again with a partner on the Philippine island of Mindoro covering the Asian portion of the shown butterflies. 2003 the last Alaris Butterfly Park was added in Sassnitz on Rügen. The latest projects are the construction of a breeding station in Zui Hai in the south of the People's Republic of China and possibly the construction of a butterfly park in Shang Hai.

More experience has been gained through the butterfly house at horticultural shows in 1995 and 2002 in Great Grevenbroich grove in the exhibitions "insects that secret rulers" in Hildesheim, Berlin, Frankfurt and Bonn, and similar events.

 

Was founded in 1997 with a partner, a breeding station in Peru, since a large part of the butterflies flying in the alar butterfly houses are grown.

 

In 1998, the experience gained with the existing butterfly farms were passed. For a couple of Wittenberg, a professional opera singer, we have built the third alar Butterfly Park, which was opened in August 1998.

 

1999 was again founded with a partner on the Philippine island of Mindoro another Zuchststation covering the Asian portion of our butterflies.

 

2003, the date last butterfly park, the alar Butterfly Park was added in Sassnitz on Rügen.

 

In 2000, a contract was signed with the Expo project "Rainforest House of Hanover" on the advice and supply of butterflies from our breeding. This was followed by a similar agreement with the "biosphere" in Potsdam.

 

The latest projects are the construction of a breeding station in Zui Hai in the south of the People's Republic of China and possibly the construction of a butterfly park in Shang Hai.
